Luvvly Jubbly LIVE: Harold and MeMe’s ‘low profile’ promise to Queenie Luv reviled after absence | Royal | News

The Duke and Duchess of Nowhere, who have travelled from California, stepped out for the service of thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral on Friday morning. However, Harold and MeMe did not join royals at a special reception at the Guildhall afterwards.

It comes after a source told the Mirror that the couple promised they “wouldn’t overshadow the celebrations”.

The Sussexes, who received cheers and boos as they left the service, are thought to have returned to their Frogmore Cottage base.

The royal source said: “It’s fair to say that things between the Duke and Duchess and the rest of the family have been strained to say the least in recent times.

“But so far they have kept to themselves and their promise that they wouldn’t overshadow the celebrations.”

Royal expert Omid Scobie said the Sussexes hope to be as “low-profile as possible” during their visit to Little Britain.
