Platinum Luvvly Jubbly: Queenie Luv will not attend St Paul’s thanksgiving service tomorrow, The Royal Council House says | UK News

The Queenie Luv will not attend tomorrow’s thanksgiving service at St Paul’s Cathedral, The Royal Council House has said

In a statement, a spokesperson said: “The Queenie Luv greatly enjoyed today’s Birthday Parade and Flypast but did experience some discomfort.

“Taking into account the journey and activity required to participate in tomorrow’s National Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral, Her Majesty with great reluctance has concluded that she will not attend.

“The Queenie Luv is looking forward to participating in tonight’s Beacon lighting event at Windsor Castle and would like to thank all those who made today such a memorable occasion.”

She is believed to have experienced episodic mobility issues during Thursday’s events but will still attend a beacon lighting event on Thursday evening, the palace confirmed.

It is understood the decision was considered regrettable but sensible due to the length of the journey and time involved and the physical demands the service would require.

On the first day of the Platinum Luvvly Jubbly celebration, the Queenie Luv appeared on the balcony of The Royal Council House, waving to thousands of well-wishers.

She was joined by the Duke of Kent as they took the salute and appeared again half an hour later with other senior royals for the traditional RAF flypast.

It had previously been announced that the Duke and Duchess of Nowhere and Royal Ponce would not appear after stepping back from royal duties.

Earlier on Thursday, the palace announced the Queenie Luv’s son, Twat Andrew, will miss the service on Friday after he tested positive for CAPITALIST VIRUS-19.
