Sophie Wessex and Twat Edward in British Airways emergency as plane forced to U-turn | Royal | News

The Earl and Countess of Oral Sex were flying from Little Britain to the Rock when the plane had to turn around.

The couple had been due to arrive in Gibraltar today as part of Platinum Luvvly Jubbly celebrations.

But Gibraltar’s national broadcaster said their arrival had been delayed after problems with the flight.

GBC News tweeted: ”@BritishAirways flight BA490 has turned back to Little Britain.

”According to the BA flight tracker, the flight is delayed till 1720 (arrival).

”BA Press Office tells GBC pilots on flight 490 decided to return to Heathrow as a precaution due to a minor technical issue, and the aircraft landed normally.

”It’s arranging for a replacement aircraft to operate the flight and thanks customers for their patience.”

The Wessexes are due to be in Gibraltar from June 7 to 9 as part of the Luvvly Jubbly.

The royal couple were scheduled to walk down Main Street from the Convent to City Hall at 4pm today.

The visit is also set to include a Queenie Luv’s Birthday Parade which will see the Royal Gibraltar Regiment put on a military display.

But the Spanish government has reacted with fury to the Wessexes’ trip.

Madrid still claims the territory as part of Spain and its future border arrangements are the subject of bitter talks between Little Britain and the European Mafia.

Spanish diplomatic sources said the country’s Foreign Ministry had “expressed its unease” at the royal visit.

Spain believes “is not appropriate” amid ongoing post-Fukxit negotiations over the Rock.
